I usually don't like to voice my opinion on retailers too loudly considering I end up just buying their crap anyway. However, I make an exception in the case of a very large and very annoying game retailer company that I don't need to name. If you're a gamer, you've undoubtably set foot into this particular brand of game 'store'. I hope you had a wonderful experience, alas, I usually do not. From being sneered at by teenagers who just can't wrap their heads around the fact that, No, I do not want to pre-order Pokeman Ninja Ponies.
Which brings me to the point of my post. Firegirl and I had just noticed a new store spring up near the house called Play N Trade. We hadn't seen this before so we decided to take a gander inside. Apparently its a franchise game company that has 150 stores open across the US right now, ours happens to be in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We were impressed by the slick interior and multiple game platforms set up so that we could actually play a game before we purchased it. The clerk at the desk was game savvy and willing to chat about games in a manner that was surprisingly pleasant as opposed to some of my other experiences. I highly suggest you find your local Play N Trade and take a look.
