There are some heavy rumors going around that a new Nintendo DSi will be hitting Japan by the end of the year.
According to several sources, the new device will have larger screens. It would bump the screen size from 3.25 inches to 4.3 inches on both the screens. This may be a bit hard to believe for some. First, it would require a complete redesign of the external casing to accomodate the larger screen size. Secondly, does a larger screen really make sense for a device that is NOT know for the screen resolution? But, there are rumors that despite the resolution, the new screen size would allow for new applications to run on the DSi.
The same rumors are also stating the price would stay the same as the current model, which is around $205 USD. If any new information is released either confirming or denying the rumors, we will keep you posted.
