In this latest installment, you take on the role of Niko Bellic, an immigrant fresh off the boat from Europe.  He’s looking to come to America to escape his past.  Roman, his cousin, is hoping they can find fourtune together in Liberty City, the gateway to the land of opportunity.  That dream is soon crushed and they find themselves in debt and being dragged down into the criminal underworld by a series of sociopaths and thieves.  They soon realize that Liberty City is a heaven for people who have money, and a hell for those who don’t.
