Sony Computer Entertainment has recently struck a deal with its close sibling Sony Pictures Entertainment to release the God of War III demo with the Blu-ray disc for District 9. The District 9 Blu-ray disc is set to go on sale on December 29th. This will be the first time that a game demo AND a movie will be released on the exact same disc. This is a smart move for Sony considering District 9 gained tons of attention from gamers. This could open the door for many more game/movie combos in the future.
If you can’t wait for the release of District 9, the God of War III demo will also be released in the God of War Collection on November 17th for the Playstation 3.
