It’s been quite some time since Nintendo originally promised to bring the Wii to Korea. In July 2006, Nintendo opened an office in South Korea to bring more of its products to the region. Since then, Nintendo has managed to release the DS Lite to South Koreans in 2007, but still no Wii.
Well, the time if finally here. The official date for the Wii release is April 26, 2008. It will be priced at 220,000 won, which is about $224 US dollars. The games that will available for launch are: Wii Sports; Wii Play, Rayman Raving Rabbids; Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure; FIFA 08; Elebits; Namco Museum Remix; Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock; and Super Swing Golf Season 2.
What, no Zelda for launch day?
