Ubisoft and Valve announced an agreement to bring about 40 Ubisoft games to gamers in the U.S. and Canada via Steam. As you know, Steam is Valve’s platform for the distribution of PC games and currently has more than 15 million accounts worldwide.
Assassin’s Creed, which will be available for PC in early April, is already being offered for pre-purchase via Steam. Also, there will be many other award-winning games to choose from, including the Tom Clancy series, Far Cry, and the Heros of Might and Magic series.
"Ubisoft will be delivering the largest library of titles available from any single publisher or developer to Steam," said the director of business development at Valve. "The incredible selection of high quality games from Ubisoft expands the range of genres offered to the millions of PC gamers logging on to Steam every day."
