Bethesda has announced today that a MMO based on the Elder Scrolls series is currently in the works.
The details so far is that it will be called Elder Scrolls Online and will be available for PC and Mac sometime in 2013. It is said that the game will take place 1,000 years before their latest game Skyrim. It will be a player-driven PvP conflict that pits the three player factions against each other in open-world warfare over the province of Cyrodiil and the Emperor’s throne itself. If you remember, that’s where Oblivion took place.
It will be developed by Bethesda’s sister company, Zenimax Online Studios.
The husband and I have been DYING for a nice co-op MMO of this caliber to come out on the 360. Let’s hope some begging by the gaming community gets them to release this for the consoles as well. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release this for the consoles Bethesda!
